Who we are

This website is operated by Mentoring Entrepreneurs. We provide technology strategy, fractional CTO, and technical delivery services to SMEs and charities. For data protection enquiries, contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect and why

Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager)

If you accept cookies, we collect anonymised data about how you use this site — pages visited, time on page, and device type. This helps us improve the site. We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5DJN6JVP) to manage this. No analytics data is collected unless you click Accept on the cookie banner.

Booking enquiries (TidyCal)

If you book a session using the booking widget on this site, your name, email address, and any message you provide are handled by TidyCal. We use this data solely to manage and confirm your booking. TidyCal's own privacy policy applies to data processed by their service.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to us by email. We use this data only to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis for processing

  • Booking and contact: Legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, and contract performance where a booking is made.

How long we keep your data

  • Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default.
  • Booking and contact enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to manage the relationship, typically no longer than two years after last contact.

Third parties

  • Google (Analytics / Tag Manager) — analytics data is processed in the EU/EEA under Google's standard contractual clauses.
  • TidyCal — booking data is processed by TidyCal. We recommend reviewing their privacy policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict how we use your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (see above)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. If you have an unresolved concern, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change does not constitute acceptance of analytics cookies — your stored consent preference is not affected by policy updates.
